We aim to protect the rights of our employees as well as protecting the rights of our clients. There are various workplace policies and procedures in place establishing the rules of conduct within our organisation. This section highlights our commitment to integrity and our attitude towards important company issues.

QUALITY POLICY

MARIZ shall provide services and products that consistently meet or exceed our customer expectations, complying with statutory and regulatory requirements at all times. By integrating the Core Values and Behaviors into everything we do we aim to continually improve our services and products, enhancing customer satisfaction. MARIZ is committed to:-

  • Establishing Quality Objectives to identify, measure, monitor and communicate Key Performance Indicators against targets, allowing the organization to continually improve services and products.
  • Conducting periodic management reviews to determine and improve upon the effectiveness and efficiency of the Quality Management System.
  • Ensuring risks that can affect quality and product conformity are identified, eliminated or reduced, to prevent quality related incidents.
  • Managing costs and preventing non-productive time (NPT) by adopting best management practices in order to promote continualimprovement of our business processes.
  • Understanding and satisfying both internal and external customers’ needs and expectations by developing robust management systems which improve performance and deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Identifying, implementing and maintaining systems of control of quality critical activities to ensure safe, effective and efficient work methods.
  • Working closely with our customers and suppliers to continually develop and improve supply chains and partnerships that deliver mutual benefit.
  • Ensuring the development of employees’ skills by providing the necessary information, instruction, training and supervision required to achieve specified quality requirements.
  • Ensuring that everyone working for MARIZ is fully aware of their responsibility for quality and for ensuring all activities that may impact upon quality are performed in a controlled manner.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE)

Mariz Energy Services Ltd as part of its corporate policy considers health, safety, security and environment issues to have equal status with other business objectives. We value our employees, contractors, customers and the environment and communities in which we live and operate in.

  • We ensure that all our projects are properly planned and executed with special considerations to the protection of lives and the environment.
  • Elimination of all forms of hazards and the preservation of the health and safety of our employees, sub- contractors and third parties.
  • Maintenance of plant and equipment in safe and proper condition.
  • Investigation of any accident to ascertain causes in order to eliminate them and forestall future occurrence.
  • Ensuring our sub-contractors strictly comply with the terms of this policy.
  • Ensuring employees, especially new employees, have relevant information and training on health and safety.
  • Ensuring employees can do their jobs, and are properly trained.
  • Recognition of excellence in safety and the provision of a safe and secure work environment.
  • Establishment of a good rapport with the members of the host communities and other persons that may be affected by Our activities.
  • Regularly reviewing this policy and making changes if necessary.

Stipulated penalty in accordance with company regulations shall be employed, should there be a violation of HSSE Policy.

The organization and arrangements for implementing this Policy within MARIZ are detailed in supporting documentation.

ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL AND GOVERNANCE (ESG) POLICY

MARIZ have stewardship responsibilities to our people, the communities in which we operate and our planet, ESG processes and procedures focus on non-financial performance indicators that address a company’s attitude towards responsible investment, sustainability, our impact on society and the environment and other ethical and corporate governance considerations.

ENVIRONMENT

The long term health of the planet is of critical importance to all of us and our products and services and help our customers lower their emissions we are committed to advancing a lower carbon future, underpinned by our goals to maximize efficiency today and to transform our business, improve for a better tomorrow.

The depletion of natural resources and the threat of climate change raise legitimate concerns about the environment and the potential financial impact on businesses. Sustainable options are increasingly being considered. The issues are diverse, but the main areas are:
